2025 Favorites

2025 was definitely a year. Really had a hard time figuring out how I wanted to photograph, in a stylistic sense, and in a gear sense. I thought I wanted to primarily be a 35mm film shooter, but after some reflection of how that shifted my mentality, I’ve decided I need to transition back to digital as my main format. Film isn’t going away for me, but It’s more going to be for occasions where I want to get through a roll quickly. I’ll also be trying to shoot more medium format film, I think I only used a single roll this year.

The year started strong in Japan, with a pretty big slump after I returned. Creativity was definitely at an all time low through spring and summer, with a winner here and there. Not only creativity, but motivation.

Fall and Winter I really made an effort and came away with some of my all time favorites!
